1. Meeting notes → client update emails
Record the call (with permission), drop the transcript into your AI and brief it: "Summarise this call as a client-facing update: decisions made, actions with owners and dates, open questions. Keep my tone — warm, direct, no waffle."
Ten minutes of admin becomes ninety seconds of review.
2. First drafts of SOPs
Every process you do twice for a client should become an SOP — that's what makes you replaceable-proof (yes, really: documented systems are what let you take holidays).
Brief: "Turn this rough walkthrough into a step-by-step SOP with screenshots placeholders, written so a new VA could follow it cold."
3. Inbox triage rules
Don't answer your client's inbox — build the system that sorts it. Have AI draft the categories, the auto-reply templates and the escalation rules. You review, refine, deploy. That's consultant work, priced like consultant work.
4. Content repurposing
One podcast episode or long video becomes: five post captions, an email, three short clips' worth of hooks. Brief your AI with the client's voice examples first — two or three posts they've loved — then ask for variations, not final copy.
5. Proposal first drafts
Never start a proposal from a blank page again. Feed it your discovery-call notes and your two-path pricing structure, and ask for a first draft. The thinking is still yours — the typing isn't.
What you should never delegate
The relationship. Pricing conversations, difficult news, strategy recommendations — these are delivered by you, in your voice, with your judgement. AI does the busywork so you have more capacity for exactly this.
Delegating to AI isn't cutting corners — it's the skill that makes you more valuable. And becoming more valuable is the fastest path to £5–10K months. ✦
